What is the importance of well functioning gutters? Well, Gutters and Downs are responsible for water management. During a storm or heavy rain they effectively channel water flow from your roof. Directing it to appropriate areas outside the home. Without a gutter system your roof can collect water and debris causing water to settle, stagnate and damage your homes exterior foundation.
Seamless or Sectional K-Style
K-style gutters are the most common gutter shape, with modern appearance and enhanced structural strength. The K-style is deeper and has more structural integrity than the older traditional half-round gutter systems. This allows the gutter system to carry more water in the deep troughs with a reduced chance for over spill and gutter collapse.
K-style gutters are offered in both seamless or sectional.
Seamless gutters are made using all one piece, instead of having separate sections. This custom style is created with custom gutter roll-outs specifically for your home. This service does generally have an increased cost, but is superior to a sectional gutter system as it is more resistant to leaks. The only draw back, is that unlike Sectional gutters, they are not easily repaired if damaged and generally require replacement.
Sectional gutters are the most common type used. Coming in 10-foot lengths that are attached directly to the homes fascia board using hangers. This style can come in Aluminum, vinyl, and copper. Sectional gutters are typically more affordable than seamless gutters, though the type of material you choose can increase or decrease overall cost. Another benefit of sectional gutters is that if one section gets damaged or fails, you only need to replace the damaged section instead of replacing an entire seamless gutter system.
Gutter Guards
Gutter guards are an important part of your homes gutter system. They help to maintain the function and flow of water by keeping debris from clogging the gutter trough.

The E-Z Under:
This is the strongest line of screen on the market today. This simple profile is made of powder-coated steel with small-sized holes and stands up great under heavy debris and snow loads.

Spring tension holds this versatile powder-coated steel gutter guard in place – for quick and easy removal without disturbing the shingles.

Nordic Steel Gutters water systems
Nordic Steel Gutters is the worlds best half round gutter system.
Steel is the ultimate material for water management systems. Heavier than aluminum, steel offers minimal thermal movement (expansion and contraction) that can tear caulk and cause costly leaks. This system is virtually damage resistant. With its 23 gauge strength and rigidity of the half round design, it creates the strongest water management system. Adding the G-90 galvanization, passivation layer, primer and sustainable GreenCoat paint on all sides of the steel, the Nordic Steel Gutters will last a lifetime.
The installation process requires no special tools, caulk, rivets or screws. This takes way the leaking corners or connectors, and collection of debris you can typically see in the K-style systems. There is also very little maintenance required. Occasional wipe or wash down is all it takes. Guaranteeing a very long service life year after year that looks aesthetically appealing, adding value to your home.
